- Facebook Facebook Ireland Limited ("Facebook") is responsible for the collection and further processing of personal user data on Facebook websites. Please note that Facebook collects and processes certain information about your visit to our Facebook page even if you do not have a Facebook user account or are not logged in to Facebook. For information on the processing of personal data by Facebook, please refer to Facebook's data policy (Privacy Policy).
For us as operators of this Facebook page, only your public profile on Facebook is visible. The information that can be viewed here depends on the settings in your profile. In addition, we process your personal data (such as your name and the content of your messages, enquiries or other contributions to us) when you contact us via our Facebook page. We then process this data for the purpose of processing and, if necessary, responding to your posts accordingly.
In addition, Facebook provides us with so-called page insights data. This data is anonymous statistics that we use to evaluate the quality of our Facebook page and our content. These statistics are created on the basis of usage data that Facebook collects about your interaction with our Facebook page; we do not have access to this usage data. Facebook has made a commitment to us to take primary responsibility for the processing of Page Insights data and to comply with your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"; see below for more information) and to provide you with the essence of the agreement that applies to this.
These processing operations are based on our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) DS-GVO, in particular to be able to contact you in response to your enquiries or posts, as well as to be able to identify usage preferences (e.g. number of so-called followers, number of views of individual page areas, user statistics by age, geography and language) and to be able to adapt and improve the offer on our Facebook page as closely as possible to the target group.
We store your personal data on our systems, i.e. outside of Facebook, if and for as long as it is required for the purposes of collection or if there are legal retention obligations.
You are under no legal or contractual obligation to hand over your personal data. However, it is possible that certain functions of our websites depend on you providing personal data. If you do not provide personal data in these cases, this may mean that functions are not available or are only available to a limited extent.
You have the following rights:
In accordance with Art. 15 DS-GVO, you have the right to information about the personal data we store. This means that you have the right to request confirmation from us as to whether or not personal data relating to you is being processed and, if so, a right of access to that personal data. The right of access includes, inter alia, the purposes of the processing, the categories of personal data processed and the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data have been or will be disclosed. However, this right is not unlimited, as the rights of other persons may limit your right of access.
In accordance with Art. 16 DS-GVO, you have the right to have incorrect data corrected. This means that you can request us to correct inaccurate personal data relating to you. Taking into account the purposes of the processing, you have the right to request the completion of incomplete personal data, including by means of a supplementary declaration.
In accordance with Article 17 of the GDPR, you have the right to have personal data relating to you deleted. This means that under certain conditions you have the right to demand that we delete personal data concerning you and that we are obliged to delete personal data.
According to Art. 18 DS-GVO, you have the right to request a restriction of the processing of your personal data. This means that in this case the relevant data will be marked and processed by us only for specific purposes (e.g. with your consent or in order to assert legal claims).
In accordance with Art. 20 DS-GVO, you have the right, under certain conditions, to receive the personal data concerning you that you have provided to us in a structured, common and machine-readable format and you have the right to transfer this data to another controller without hindrance from us.
You also have the right to contact the competent data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU Member State of your habitual residence or where a breach of the GDPR is alleged.
To exercise these rights with regard to Facebook's data processing, please contact Facebook directly, if possible, using the contact details Facebook has made known on its websites. In other cases or otherwise if you need to, please send us an email at info@jensendental.de.
Under certain circumstances, you have the right to object to our processing of your personal data at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation or where personal data is used for direct marketing purposes and we may be obliged to stop processing your personal data. In addition, where personal data is processed for the purposes of direct marketing, you have the right to object at any time to our processing of personal data concerning you for the purposes of such marketing. This also applies to profiling, insofar as it is related to such direct advertising. In this case, the personal data will no longer be processed by us for these purposes. To exercise your right to object, please send us an e-mail to info@jensendental.de as far as possible.
Additional information on how we handle personal data can be found in our Privacy Policy.
